Weekly reviews/ lists will be sent to management starting 19 MARCH 2026; additional lists may be request.** Duties Tactfully warns patrons who repeatedly disregard safety rules and follow facility Standard Operating Procedures for disciplinary actions. Assists with scheduling of employees, the operation of the pool, and performs water tests. Assist in coaching or preparing the competitive and non-competitive swimming programs as required. Assist with the operation of the pool, oversees the work of assigned lifeguards and monitors compliance with facility policies. Under direction of the pool supervisor, employ safety rules for the protection of the guest. Responsible for life guarding guest in attendance at the assigned aquatic facility. Issues towels and checks identification as required. Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required. Responsible for assisting in the conduct of aquatic swimming and water survival training according to tC21-21. Maintains daily logs and records as required. Attend aquatics and/or safety training as directed. Ensures maintaining pool and area is clean and free from any hazards. Provides information to swimmers regarding safety rules and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2. to include a medical examination and Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities. Incumbent must be willing and able to work varying shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Incumbent must have current health assessment which documents good physical health, and free from communicable disease IAW current Army Policy. Incumbent must be willing and able to work in continuous exposure to sun and prolonged periods of high temperature and humidity. Incumbent must be willing and able to complete a physical Incumbent must be willing and able to work irregular duties or when needed for special recreational events and related requirements. Work hours may involve weekend, weekdays, holidays and night duty. Incumbent is required to follow environmental safeguards and wear personal protective equipment. Incumbent must be willing and able to obtain the Hepatitis B vaccination series within a 24-hour period in case of exposure to infectious disease. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). A qualified candidate must possess the following: Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS). American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional.
