Summary This position is located at: Unit Sports - Fort Hood, Texas. This announcement is in conjunction with the Fort Hood Job Fair on Wednesday May 20, 2026. Learn more about this agency Duties Supports activities and services of the athletics and intramural sports program. Provides oversight of events and tournaments. Maintains cleanliness and organization of athletic facilities. Ensures adherence to regulations and safety procedures. Assists in setting up for special events and sports tournaments. Assistants with publicity of events and tournaments and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers, and other promotional material. Provides outstanding customer service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Monitors condition of, cleans, and performs minor maintenance on athletics equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Must obtain and maintain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED within one year of employment. Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance. Must be able to endure physical demands beyond normal requirements including prolonged standing and walking, and must be able to work in settings where exposure to moderate discomforts may exist. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, to include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position. 2. Must be able to obtain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. One year of full-time work experience in the sports and fitness industry. 2. Current nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
