Summary About the Position: This position is located in the AD HCA - TRICARE Health Plan, Private Sector Care Delivery. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Learn more about this agency Duties Perform workload and other statistically-based analyses to identify and address the implications of contractor performance. Develop and refine appropriate metrics intended to monitor MCSC progress toward achieving long/short-term goals set in regional business plans. Perform contractor performance surveillance in concert with DHA Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representative and in accordance with the Government Surveillance Plan. Provide regular updates and information regarding Managed Care Support Contract (MCSC) activities. Analyze potential improvements to existing contracts, financing programs, and helps develop plans and strategies for potential/contract changes. Basic Requirements for Health Systems Specialist: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with resolving issues with the TRICARE benefit; reviewing, analyzing and/or developing policies affecting the military health system and private sector care delivery; and experience with service acquisitions and/or writing contractual requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
