Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Galaxy Club, RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks to support a bar/ beer serving activity. Scheduled shifts may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical, position frequently lifts, pulls and pushes objects weighing up to 40 and over pounds. Learn more about this agency Duties Carries supplies and equipment, such as liquors, fruits, ice, glasses, linens and silverware from storage areas to the bar. Slices and peels fruit. Fills ice bins and crushes ice. Washes and cleans bar glasses, bar equipment and keeps the work area clean and neat. Replaces empty beer kegs with full kegs with the aid of a dolly; stocks beer coolers. Wipes down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers. s in setting up service bars and portable bars. Carries debris to waste containers. May serve bottle beer, soft drinks and draw beer from kegs. Performs other related duties as assigned. This position requires the incumbent to be available for shift work. This position has physical lifting requirement which requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical. The incumbent must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages (18 years old). Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pull and push objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to and over 40 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of suitability and fitness for the position. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
