Summary
This position is located at SHAPE Sports & Fitness.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Duties
Plans and administers an assigned segment of a sports program.
Selects and emphasizes competitive sports activities to be offered. Assists in conducting clinics and seminars to train coaches, officials and/or participants. Schedules and publicizes tournaments, and other sports events.
Solicits volunteer and paid services for activities. Evaluates the effectiveness of sports activities program objectives.
Develops program plans and requirements. Arranges for necessary supplies, transportation, space, and services to accomplish scheduled sports activities.

Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Demonstrated experience in planning, supervising, administering or carrying out a sports program that included a variety of individual and team sports and guiding participants in developing the skills needed for participation in sports activities and teaching the techniques of various sports. This experience may have been gained managing or administering a sports program in a community, industrial activity, or secondary school or college; planning, teaching or evaluating a physical education curriculum for secondary or higher academic levels; or managing, umpiring, or officiating at amateur or professional athletic events, competitions, or games. Required experience must have been equivalent to the next lower grade level.
An undergraduate degree in physical education may be fully qualifying for this position.

Area of Consideration
The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is local commuting area. The local commuting area defined as within 100 km (60 miles) of Shape, Belguim. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP), Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) and Family Member Preference eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), incentives and differentials will not be paid, with the exception of post allowance, contingent upon eligibility.
