Summary This position is located at the Downtown Arts and Crafts Center, DFMWR, USAG Camp Humphreys, Pyong Taek, South Korea. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Learn more about this agency Duties In an Arts and Crafts Center, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory, receives and resolves customer complaints. Provides information and general instructions on the use of tools, equipment, and facilities related to arts and crafts activities. Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out tools and materials, providing safety instruction, demonstrating proper use of equipment, teaching arts and crafts classes, and offering guidance on creative projects. Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, exhibition and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience which involved dealing with the general public In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Demonstrated experience teaching and demonstrating techniques in one or more art forms such as resin, 3D printing, digital art, painting, pottery, woodworking, engraving, sewing, tufting, or framing. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
