**NP Family Medicine opening in Maryland** Located in Salisbury, MD - Annapolis, MD 88m; Baltimore, MD 117m * Full-time * Monday - Friday * Excellent benefit package **Responsibilities** * Performs comprehensive physical assessments; evaluating, diagnosing, and treating new and existing patient s medical conditions. * Initiates and interprets labs and x-ray study results including CTs & MRIs. * Performs medical procedures with appropriate credentialing. * Refers patients for specialized consultation. * Assists physicians in medical procedures. * Uses prescriptive authority to write prescription medicines for patients. * Enters/Dictates progress notes on patients charts indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed. * Conducts follow-up patient care. * Provides health education to patients and families. **Qualifications** * MSN required * Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner from an approved nurse practitioner program. * Current Maryland state registered nurse license and advanced registered nurse practitioner license with prescriptive authority.
