Accountabilities:

This role is responsible for leading client success, portfolio growth, and operational excellence across a set of enterprise marketplace accounts while managing a high-performing account team.

  • Own a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring revenue growth, retention, and high-quality delivery across Amazon and other marketplace channels.
  • Lead development of strategic roadmaps, growth plans, promotional calendars, and business reviews aligned with client objectives and performance targets.
  • Serve as the primary senior client partner, leading executive-level conversations, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
  • Identify upsell opportunities, expand client scopes, and drive incremental revenue growth across the portfolio.
  • Manage and mentor a team of account managers, including workload distribution, coaching, performance feedback, and development planning.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution across media, creative, retail, and marketplace operations, ensuring flawless delivery and alignment across teams.
  • Translate performance data and reporting into actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and optimization plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with media, analytics, creative, and retail teams to ensure integrated execution.
  • Contribute to internal process improvements, best practices, onboarding frameworks, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Requirements

    This role requires a seasoned account and marketplace leader with strong Amazon/Walmart expertise, commercial acumen, and proven team leadership experience.

    • 7+ years of experience in marketplace management, with deep expertise in Amazon (1P/3P) and Walmart (1P/3P).
    • Proven experience managing enterprise-level client accounts and leading executive stakeholder relationships.
    • Experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing account teams.
    • Strong understanding of digital commerce, retail media, and full-funnel marketplace strategy.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence in client-facing and executive-level discussions.
    • Strong analytical ability with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and performance data interpretation.
    • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and influence client decision-making.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
