We are looking for exceptional Account Directors who will focus solely on expanding our strategic accounts (current customers). In this role, you will be responsible for growing Workato’s footprint to drive deep adoption within their product/services departments. This is a remote role, candidates based anywhere in the US are welcome to apply! You will also be responsible to:
Partner with our customer’s product, sales, marketing and services teams to develop a process and strategy for large scale adoption from their end-customers.
Manage the entire expansion sales process from identification, presentation, proposal and contract negotiation.
Meet and exceed annual sales targets
Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting
Understand the product inside out, be technically sound
Ability to understand and articulate customer needs and requirements from both a business and technical perspective
Be a company builder
Share best practices back into the organization
7-15 years of experience in a closing role (AE/AM/AD)
3+ years of specific experience in an Account Management or Account Director role with the sole focus on expanding existing accounts.
Identifying/Presenting/Communicating on business impact (value selling)
Experience utilizing sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger, Sandler, etc.
Business Consulting experience a plus
Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics
An enthusiastic team player who’s comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Ability to solve customer problems with creative, out of the box solutions.
- A desire to build something new that can change the business landscape, versus fitting neatly into a large company with an established static playbook.
