Team: Account Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive – AI, Cloud and Compliance Advisory based in the United States.

This is a high-impact commercial role focused on driving growth across enterprise cybersecurity, cloud, and compliance advisory services. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, helping organizations navigate complex security, risk, and regulatory challenges through tailored solutions. The role blends strategic account expansion with new business acquisition, requiring both relationship-driven selling and disciplined outbound execution. You will work closely with cross-functional consulting, delivery, and marketing teams to design solutions that meet client needs and support long-term partnerships. This position is ideal for a consultative seller who thrives in complex enterprise environments and is passionate about cybersecurity, cloud transformation, and AI-enabled advisory services. You will operate in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with significant autonomy and exposure to executive stakeholders.

Accountabilities

  • Drive new business development and strategic account expansion across enterprise clients within cybersecurity, cloud, AI, and compliance advisory services.
  • Develop and execute quarterly account and territory plans, aligning internal teams and resources to meet revenue and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, including CISOs, CIOs, CFOs, and other key decision-makers.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and pursue net-new client acquisition through outbound prospecting and inbound lead conversion.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, including opportunity qualification, pipeline development, solution positioning, proposal creation, and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with consulting, delivery, and marketing teams to design tailored cybersecurity and compliance solutions for clients.
  • Facilitate client strategy sessions, executive presentations, and advisory discussions focused on long-term security and risk outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and account planning using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, deal governance, and proposal development, including Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to shape go-to-market strategy and strengthen service positioning.
  • Requirements

    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally within enterprise or mid-market professional services.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas, driving pipeline growth, and managing complex sales cycles.
    • Strong experience selling cybersecurity, GRC (e.g., SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST), cloud services, AI solutions, or related consulting offerings.
    • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
    • Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities in client-facing environments.
    • Ability to manage multiple complex deals simultaneously in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with technical delivery, consulting, and marketing teams.
    • Familiarity with CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or Outreach is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
    • Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
