Team: Account Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Executive III, Strategic Alliances based in United States.

This is a high-impact strategic sales and relationship leadership role focused on managing and expanding enterprise-level partnerships within the financial services and payments ecosystem. You will serve as the primary post-sale relationship owner for key strategic accounts, ensuring long-term value realization, revenue growth, and strong executive alignment. The role requires deep consultative engagement with senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, to shape joint growth strategies. You will act as a trusted advisor, connecting client business objectives with platform capabilities and industry insights. Working cross-functionally with product, service, and operations teams, you will drive adoption, expansion, and retention across a complex portfolio. This is a remote-first environment where autonomy, accountability, and strategic thinking are essential.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own and grow relationships with strategically important enterprise partners, ensuring long-term revenue expansion and partnership success while acting as a senior trusted advisor.

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value strategic accounts with full responsibility for revenue growth, retention, and expansion outcomes.
  • Develop and execute detailed account strategies aligned with client objectives and internal product capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships across client organizations, including senior leadership and decision-makers.
  • Lead strategic business reviews, presenting performance insights, value delivery, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and drive consultative sales conversations focused on long-term partnership value.
  • Prepare and negotiate proposals, renewals, pricing, and contractual agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for key client issues, ensuring timely resolution and strong relationship continuity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions, implementations, and client outcomes.
  • Requirements:

    This role requires extensive experience in enterprise account management or strategic sales within complex, high-value environments, particularly in financial services or technology-driven industries.

    • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, consulting, or relationship management within B2B or B2B2C environments.
    • Proven track record of managing and growing large enterprise or strategic accounts with measurable revenue impact.
    • Strong background in financial services, payments, fintech, or consulting environments.
    • Ability to engage confidently with senior executives and C-level stakeholders.
    • Strong commercial acumen with experience in negotiations, renewals, and contract management.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business value.
    • Strong strategic thinking and account planning capabilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and structured account management practices.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred; advanced degrees are a plus.
