Accountant

We are looking for a dynamic Accountant to join our client's team
Agilus is recruiting for an Accountant in the gaming sector in Edmonton, Alberta.
This role will support day-to-day reporting and accounting operations
What's in it for you:

• $30.00 hourly
• 3-month contract position
• Pay rate based on experience
• Work hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Monday to Friday in office
• Location: West Edmonton Mall area

A typical day:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and basic financial reporting activities.
• Complete Everi Cash Call Statement reconciliations
• Review and validate inventory-related data to ensure accuracy
• Prepare Server Due Back summaries for senior accountant review
• Perform third-party credit card processor VS (F&B POS) reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile Gift Certificate tracking
• Manage and reconcile Internal Comps Meal usage
• Update and maintain F&B inventory records and Excel work files

You bring:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a hospitality, gaming, or food & beverage environment
• 1 to 2 years of experience with credit card settlement systems and Food & Beverage POS reconciliations
• Experience with F&B POS systems (e.g., Squirrel) and financial systems such as Great Plains
• Solid Excel skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable with follow-through
