Argo is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate based in our San Antonio office. This is a 100% office-based position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Daily printing and mailing of claims checks at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm.
Forward undeliverable claims checks to adjusters for resolution.
Respond to claims check inquiries from adjusters.
Provide monthly FedEx usage reports to claims stakeholders.
Monitor check stock and envelopes supply - must be replenished in a timely manner.
Upload Accounts Payable Quick check requests to Smart AP.
Run Smart AP Special Handling instructions report on check run days for check mailing instructions.
Pull invoices for vendors on the special handling instruction report that requires invoice to be sent with the check.
Handling and mailing of Accounts Payable checks on check run days.
Scanning of AP Process documents in Imageright.
Daily monitoring of Bermuda inbox for invoices from employees and vendors.
Review that check requests are completed correctly, including account code and required approval
Research vendor credits.
Put together all support, upload, and create wires in Kyriba for Bermuda AP and corporate foreign wires.
Research unclaimed property checks for AP – reach out to the check requestor or to the vendor directly for resolution.
Cross-training of other accounts payable tasks to support team emergencies and vacations.
Work with team in system upgrade from EBS to Oracle Cloud.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of accounts payable experience.
Oracle Financials experience preferred.
Flexible and able to multi-task regularly in a high-volume work environment.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Customer focus and customer oriented.
