Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AR Analyst/Senior Analyst specializing in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). This remote position plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing our revenue cycle processes, with specific focus on mental health billing, denial management, eligibility verification, and credentialing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve claim denials specific to mental health services and treatments
  • Perform detailed eligibility and benefits verification for behavioral health services
  • Manage provider credentialing for mental health professionals
  • Handle billing related to various mental health services including therapy sessions, psychiatric evaluations, and intensive outpatient programs
  • Monitor and track denial trends specific to mental health claims
  • Collaborate with insurance companies regarding mental health coverage and authorizations
  • Generate and analyze reports to track key performance metrics
  • Implement best practices for denial prevention in mental health billing
  • Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, preferably in mental/behavioral health
  • Strong expertise in denial management, eligibility & benefits verification, and credentialing
  • Knowledge of mental health billing requirements and regulations
  • Experience with behavioral health CPT codes and billing modifiers
  • Familiarity with mental health insurance coverage and authorizations
  • Proficiency in healthcare billing software and MS Office applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mental health or behavioral health billing
  • Knowledge of specific mental health billing regulations and compliance requirements
  • Understanding of mental health parity laws
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Certifications in Medical Billing or Revenue Cycle Management

    Additional Information

    Working Conditions

    • Location: Fully Remote
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday
    • Shift Timing: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (Night Shift)
    • Employment Type: Full-time

    The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of mental health billing requirements while maintaining high performance standards in a remote work environment. Must be comfortable working independently during night shift hours while effectively communicating with team members across different time zones.
