12m Temp Contract.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares content, writes periodic product commentaries and conducts training for crew related to products, increasing general investment acumen of the business, supporting distribution efforts and satisfying regulatory requirements as needed.
• To attend client meetings to represent Vanguard's active equity income line-up, representing and articulating the internal and external manager's investment process, positioning, and market views.
• Attends and presents at industry conferences and client specific events related to the product category of focus.
• Responds to complex crew and client enquiries regard product attributes, positioning, or other complex investment product topics as needed.
• To contribute to thought leadership pieces on pertinent topics to support Vanguard product growth.
• Conducts analyses of investment product issues confronting Vanguard's product line-up. Leverages and manages cross-functional teams as required. Prepares and presents strategic analysis and recommendations to senior management at various forums.
• Develops and maintains key stakeholder relationships (with both internal and external stakeholders including with both internal and external investment managers).
• Supports product strategy with input on existing product enhancements and new product development initiatives while overseeing the product health of Vanguard's active equity solutions.
• A willingness to keep abreast of key themes across financial markets and developing ESG trends in the equity market.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned to support the continued growth and health of the active equity business.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; Advanced degree, CFA charter or progress to CFA preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience either within a similar role or investment experience.
• Experience in presenting and having regular contact with advisor and wholesale clients
• Strong theoretical and practical understanding of equites, analysis, and portfolio management techniques
• Proficient in articulating financial markets
• Demonstrated conceptual thinking skills and the ability to anticipate implications of decisions
• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills and superior written communication skills
• High-level presentation skills
• Experience using Factset and Morningstar is preferred.
• Experience in equity ESG is an advantage
