This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Advogado(a) em Direito Digital, Proteção de Dados e IA (LGPD) based in Brazil.

This role sits at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation, supporting organizations in their digital transformation journeys with a strong focus on privacy, data protection, and artificial intelligence governance.
You will work in high-impact advisory projects involving some of the largest companies in the market, helping them design and implement robust privacy and compliance frameworks.
The position combines strategic legal consulting with hands-on execution, including the development of policies, assessments, and governance models.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, translating complex regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.

Accountabilities:

  • Act in LGPD compliance and privacy governance projects, including implementation of privacy programs and DPO as a Service activities.
  • Advise clients on Digital Law, Privacy, Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Draft, review, and validate legal documents such as opinions, policies, procedures, contracts, privacy notices, and governance frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain key privacy artifacts such as ROPA, DPIA/RIPD, LIA, and risk assessments.
  • Analyze contracts, vendors, products, and services under Privacy by Design and regulatory compliance perspectives.
  • Support AI governance initiatives, including policies, risk assessments, compliance frameworks, and internal guidelines for AI usage.
  • Conduct client meetings, interviews, and workshops to map processes, identify risks, and propose legal and strategic solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to implement privacy and innovation-driven solutions.
  • Monitor legal, regulatory, and technological developments related to data protection, AI, ANPD guidelines, and digital transformation trends.
  • Requirements:

    • Law degree with active OAB registration.
    • Solid experience in Privacy, Data Protection, and Digital Law projects.
    • Hands-on experience with LGPD compliance programs and privacy governance implementation.
    • Experience drafting and reviewing ROPA, DPIA/RIPD, LIA, policies, contracts, and legal opinions.
    • Experience with contract analysis, data sharing, international transfers, and legal bases for data processing.
    • Participation in client-facing meetings, workshops, and interviews.
    • Strong understanding of LGPD, ANPD resolutions, Marco Civil da Internet, and related digital regulations.
    • Knowledge of Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles.
    • Advanced English for reading, writing, and professional communication.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and consulting skills with a proactive mindset.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments.
    • Nice to have: postgraduate studies in Digital Law, Privacy, AI, Compliance or related fields; certifications in privacy or AI governance; experience as DPO or DPO as a Service; knowledge of GDPR or EU AI Act; exposure to AI, cloud, or emerging technologies.
