This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Analista de SRE Pleno based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to work on the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of critical technology environments. As part of an engineering-focused team, you will help ensure high availability and performance of cloud-based applications while implementing automation and operational excellence practices. You will contribute to building resilient systems through observability, infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, and proactive problem-solving. The position requires collaboration with multiple technical teams, combining hands-on engineering skills with a strong focus on reliability and innovation. Accountabilities:

  • Support the reliability, evolution, and operational excellence of applications and infrastructure hosted in AWS environments.
  • Ensure availability, performance, scalability, and resilience of production services through monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvements.
  • Define, implement, and monitor reliability indicators, including SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Actively participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and the implementation of preventive actions.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and operational automations to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Implement and evolve observability solutions involving metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting systems.
  • Analyze performance, capacity, and availability bottlenecks, proposing technical improvements.
  • Collaborate with Development, Architecture, Security, and Product teams to promote reliability best practices across the organization.
  • Requirements

    • Professional experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer in critical or highly available environments.
    • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS/ECS, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, and related cloud technologies.
    • Experience working with Kubernetes and containers, including operating distributed applications in production environments.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
    • Experience implementing observability solutions using tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar platforms.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills for distributed systems, incident management, and root cause analysis.
    • Knowledge of monitoring practices based on metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts.
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration automation tools such as Ansible or equivalent solutions.
    • Knowledge of Linux, networking concepts, protocols, load balancers, and infrastructure security fundamentals.
    • Understanding of distributed architectures, high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability principles.
    • Knowledge of vulnerability remediation and security update processes.
    • Strong communication skills, systemic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Technical English proficiency.
    • Nice-to-have skills:

      • AWS certifications.
      • Experience defining and managing SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
      • Experience working with mission-critical, high-volume, or low-latency environments.
      • Knowledge of automation using Python, Go, Bash, or similar programming languages.
      • Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, Flux, or other GitOps tools.
      • Knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization.
      • Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, or DynamoDB.
      • Knowledge of capacity engineering, performance optimization, scalability, and resilience strategies.
      • Experience with infrastructure security, IAM, secrets management, and secure change management practices.
