• Plan, design, and execute automated regression testing scenarios across mainframe and low-platform environments.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Validate batch and online processes in mainframe environments, including integrations with .NET applications, APIs, and services.
• Perform data validation and traceability activities using DB2 and SQL queries.
• Identify, document, track, and support the resolution of software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Produce and maintain testing documentation, evidence, and quality reports.
• Support system homologation, deployment activities, and continuous improvement initiatives related to software testing and automation.
• Collaborate closely with development, business, and support teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with automated testing in environments integrating mainframe and distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in COBOL applications, including online and batch processes, as well as .NET services and APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, TSO/ISPF, and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with automation and testing tools including Selenium, UFT, Postman, Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, IBM Mainframe, Azure DevOps, or related credentials will be considered a plus.
