The Caterpillar Enterprise Strategy Division is seeking an Analytics Project Leader to combine quantitative expertise with strong business acumen to deliver data-driven insights. This role supports Rental and BCP Growth Plans by partnering with dealers and cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable strategies that drive business performance.
What You Will Do:
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear compelling narratives for enterprise leadership dealers and cross-functional teams
- Utilize multiple data sets across the enterprise and dealer network to identify data discrepancies patterns trends and business insights
- Serve as a primary analytics partner to project teams dealers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Ensure analytical solutions directly support business decision-making for Rental and BCP Growth projects
- Develop analytics tools and solutions in partnership with business stakeholders supporting dealer growth plans
What You Have:
- Data Visualization: Intermediate to advanced Power BI skills
- Data Management: Intermediate to advanced SQL and relational database expertise
- Communication: Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear actionable insights for non-technical audiences
- Analytical Expertise: Strong experience in business data analysis research analysis and attention to detail
What Will Set You Apart:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business marketing economics statistics or related quantitative field
- Experience with analytical programming tools such as Microsoft Power Automate Python or similar
- Demonstrated leadership attributes including intellectual curiosity sound business judgment and emotional intelligence
- Working knowledge of product/solution design technical documentation and requirements analysis

- Location: Peoria IL or Irving TX
- Required Travel: 10%
Summary Pay Range:
$112710.00 - $169060.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market location job-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
