Team: Account Executive
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an App Security Sales Executive in the United States.
This role is a high-impact, customer-facing position responsible for driving adoption and growth of advanced application security solutions. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, blending strategic sales execution with deep application security expertise to influence both executive and technical stakeholders. The position requires leading technical engagements, delivering demos and proof-of-concepts, and translating complex security challenges into clear business value. You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop strategic account plans, support sales initiatives, and ensure successful customer outcomes. This role is ideal for someone technically curious, results-driven, and passionate about helping organizations secure modern software development in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
Accountabilities:

Lead technical sales motions including discovery calls, product demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.

Present compelling solutions that address both technical and business challenges for customers.

Serve as a subject matter expert on application security solutions, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and AI-driven remediation.

Partner with enterprise sales teams to execute strategic account plans and drive solution adoption and revenue growth.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, product, engineering, marketing, services, and support to ensure aligned execution and customer success.

Act as the voice of the customer by capturing feedback, competitive insights, and emerging trends to inform product and roadmap decisions.

Maintain strong pipeline health, accurate forecasting, and disciplined opportunity management.

4+ years of experience in sales, pre-sales, technical consulting, or related fields, or a Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.

1+ year experience selling Developer Automation, AI, CI/CD, DevOps, Application Security, or DevSecOps solutions.

Strong understanding of application security concepts and the broader AppSec market landscape.

Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and executive audiences.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive shared outcomes.

Preferred: 2+ years working with or selling developer automation, AI, CI/CD, DevOps, or AppSec solutions; experience in SMB markets; strong public speaking or content creation experience.

Competitive base salary: USD $91,350 – $242,340/year, with additional performance-based sales incentives (OTE 70/30 base/incentive).
