Position: Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst

The AR Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the accounts receivable function for our SaaS business and act as a liaison between finance and the sales team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you’ll do: 

  • Review, generate, and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices based on contract terms and billing schedules.
  • Work with the sales teams and customer success teams to process customer invoicing and subscription change requests.
  • Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure proper recording and application of payments, credits, and adjustments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Assist with creating and updating KPI reports.
  • Responsible for enrolling in our customer’s vendor/supplier portals
  • Coordinate with the revenue recognition team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and proper recognition of subscription revenue.
  • Maintain customer records and update account information as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of AR policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide support for external audits and compliance reviews as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing the overall AR function.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable role, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS billing models, subscription-based revenue recognition, and GAAP principles.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Netsuite and Suitebilling experience a plus
  • Experience with billing systems and automation tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and SaaS metrics (e.g., MRR, ARR, churn) is desirable.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations and be residents of the United States.

 Pay: $65,000-70,000 (there is no bonus for this position)
