Job Description

    • Assist in design and implementation of complex network solutions using Arista switches and routers.
    • Configure and deploy Arista network devices, including setting up VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and Quality of Service (QoS).
    • Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, including configuration guides and network diagrams.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting and Support:
    • Provide Tier 3 support for advanced network issues involving Arista equipment.
    • Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network problems.
    • Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to address escalated issues and ensure effective resolution.

  • Monitor network performance using Arista's network management tools and other monitoring solutions.
  • Analyze traffic patterns and identify performance bottlenecks, recommending and implementing optimization strategies.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of network services through proactive performance tuning.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices on Arista devices.
    • Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential security risks.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security requirements.
  • Project Management and Collaboration:
    • Lead or contribute to network projects involving Arista technology, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver network solutions that meet business needs.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
    • Prepare and present reports on network performance, incidents, and project status to stakeholders.
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with significant expertise in Arista networking technologies.
      • Proven experience with advanced troubleshooting, performance optimization, and network design using Arista switches and routers.
      • Preferred experience working in a Managed and Professional Services team
    • Certifications:
      • Arista Certified Network Engineer (ACNE) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
      • Additional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) and relevant experience in related technologies are a plus.
    • Skills:
      • Advanced knowledge of Arista network devices, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
      • Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and technologies (e.g., SDN, VXLAN).
      • Proficiency in network management and monitoring tools, including those specific to Arista environments.
      • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
