We are currently seeking experienced and licensedArmed Armored Car Guards & Driversto join our team. Position Summary The Armed Armored Car Guard & Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles, transporting valuable cargo, and providing high-level security in compliance with company policies and Illinois armed security regulations. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, firearms proficiency, and full regulatory compliance. Responsibilities • Operate an armored vehicle and follow all safety, driving, and security procedures. • Load and unload high-value shipments with proper chain-of-custody controls. • Complete delivery documentation including manifests, logs, and receipts. • Communicate with dispatch and control centers via radio and secure devices. • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and security equipment. • Stay alert and vigilant to detect and respond to threats or suspicious behavior. • Maintain compliance with all company procedures and IDFPR licensing requirements. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED (required). • Minimum 3 years of verifiable driving experience. • Must have a validIllinois Driver’s Licensewith a clean driving record. • PERC Card (Permanent Employee Registration Card)– Required. • Firearm Control Card (FCC)issued by theIllinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)– Required. • Completion of 20-hour state-approved armed guard training (required). • Ability to obtain and maintain aDOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate. • Must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and firearm proficiency test. • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience in armored transportation, law enforcement, military, or armed private security. • Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, route planning, and secure communications. • Strong situational awareness and crisis response ability.
