The Assoc. Director, Learning and Development Programs will collaborate closely with the Talent Centers of Excellence, HR Partners and business/functional leaders to drive enterprise-wide priorities using Learning and Development and HR best practices for sustainable learning, change and transition management. You will lead a team of individuals who develop and implement Collins Aerospace wide learning and development strategies and programs.

This position can be worked remotely, from anywhere in the domestic U.S.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Take a Human-Centric approach to lead, develop and manage team of Learning Program Managers responsible for the curation, development, and execution of Collins Learning Programs.
  • Partner with the Director to define and implement comprehensive learning strategies that consistently raise the level of performance and engagement of our leaders and employees.
  • Through a collaborative team effort, design learning frameworks with leadership, management, business and personal progression and best practice in mind to grow and develop Collins Employees
  • Manage and build relationships with third party training vendors to ensure quality and cultural alignment
  • Understand the company Talent/Business strategy, objectives, and culture to create training programs that are directly aligned.
  • Act as the Collins L&D liaison for Talent Leads and HR with questions or queries regarding the Collins learning initiatives
  • Equip HR, Global People Services and Leaders with the comprehensive knowledge to respond to employee Learning and Development questions
  • Work closely with various leaders and functional groups across the organization and have a full understanding of the business requirements and direction
  • Benchmark and embrace different styles of learning and employee development techniques to
  • Have an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions to implement the required training strategies
  • Use data and analytics to drive learning solutions and measurements of program success
  • Travel up 25%

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is Required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant HR experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development or Leadership Development
  • Strong experience in leading teams, driving a culture of collaboration and creating a psychologically safe place for their team to flex and grow
  • Strong experience working with senior leadership to communicate and implement Learning programs to support the business goals.
  • Business minded and demonstrate an understanding of how to plan for and effectively manage development and execution of enterprise wide initiatives
  • Excellent project management and organization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, strong teaming orientation and high adaptability.
  • Proficient in powerpoint with excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Prior experience in large manufacturing and/or matrixed global organization a plus
  • Prior Learning & Development experience a must
  • HRBP experience preferred

The salary range for this role is $129,000.00 to $265,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
