This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Associate Director, Market Access Portfolio Strategy in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of market intelligence, long-term strategic forecasting, and healthcare policy analysis, supporting enterprise-wide decision-making within a complex pharmaceutical environment. The position is responsible for shaping how evolving U.S. market access dynamics are understood and translated into actionable insights that influence portfolio strategy over a 5–10+ year horizon. You will work with advanced datasets, payer and policy trends, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify early signals of market change. The role contributes directly to executive-level planning by ensuring that insights are structured, current, and widely accessible across the organization. It requires strong analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to connect data-driven insights with commercial and clinical implications. This is a highly collaborative position within a matrix environment, with significant exposure to strategic leadership and enterprise planning.

Accountabilities:

  • Maintain and continuously update market access forecasting model assumptions by analyzing evolving payer, policy, and healthcare data to ensure accuracy and relevance of long-term strategic outputs.
  • Track, catalogue, and assess key U.S. market access trends, ensuring completeness of datasets and consistency of insights used across forecasting and strategic planning activities.
  • Support Directors in developing market analyses by gathering, synthesizing, and interpreting data from internal and external sources to inform methodologies and strategic narratives.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level materials, including updates to the US Market Access Outlook, ensuring insights are clearly communicated and reused across business functions.
  • Conduct data-driven market research using secondary data sources, internal insights, and industry intelligence to identify emerging trends and implications.
  • Organize and support annual planning cycles, ensuring structured coordination, data integrity, and timely delivery of strategic outputs.
  • Present findings and insights across multiple organizational levels, translating complex analytics into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree such as MBA, Health Policy, or related field strongly preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare strategy consulting, market access, policy, analytics, or managed care environments, including strong exposure to U.S. healthcare systems.
    • Proven ability to work with and interpret claims, payer, or healthcare datasets (e.g., IQVIA or similar data sources), along with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Deep understanding of U.S. market access dynamics, including reimbursement models, payer behavior, and healthcare policy evolution.
    • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to translate complex data into compelling strategic narratives for executive audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix environment with strong organizational discipline and attention to detail.
    • High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and intellectual curiosity with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
    • Benefits

      • Competitive base salary ranging from $160,300 to $297,700 annually
      • Performance-based bonus and eligibility for equity awards depending on role level
      • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
      • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contribution and match
      • Generous paid time off including vacation, holidays, personal days, and additional leave options
      • Career development and learning opportunities in a global organization
      • Inclusive and collaborative work culture focused on innovation and impact
      • Exposure to high-level strategic planning and executive decision-making processes.
