The position of Associate Director, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) at P&W is responsible for end-to-end management of Mergers, Acquisitions, Licensing, Joint Ventures and Divestitures (M&A). In addition to M&A transaction execution, the person in this position will play a role in helping craft inorganic growth strategy for P&W. The person will also play an active role in continuously improving the transaction processes and tools and helping to develop a team of junior M&A professionals.
This role will report directly to to the Executive Director, Transactions - GSD.
The person will work with stakeholders from various business units and functions across P&W to coordinate and lead M&A transaction activities, including:
This role requires the ability to routinely report out to senior stakeholders, including P&W President and Raytheon Technologies' Corporate Strategy and Development organization.

- Ensuring organizational strategic alignment
- Identifying and evaluating targets
- Overseeing the preparation of company profiles
- Developing complex business cases, valuations, market peer companies/transaction compares, carve-outs and other types of financial modeling analysis
- Analyzing financial statements
- Managing the due diligence process activities across functions
- Developing transaction structures
- Negotiating agreements
- Planning transitions (integration/separation)
- Preparing and submitting corporate acquisition/divestiture requests, and
- Preparing briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders
This role requires the ability to routinely report out to senior stakeholders, including P&W President and Raytheon Technologies' Corporate Strategy and Development organization.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance (preferred), Accounting, Economics or related with at least 12 years' of relevant experience or 10 years' of experience with a master's degree or MBA
- US citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- A solid academic background with a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and an MBA
- Capable of managing multiple transactions/tasks at the same time working effectively in a time-sensitive and dynamic environment
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and a close attention to detail to ensure that diligence information, valuation, management approval and final transactional documents are all consistent
- Creativity and strong communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a results-oriented, project-driven, collaborative environment to deliver quality results within tight time constraints
- Familiarity with financial data services (S&P Capital IQ, FactSet, Bloomberg)
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Aerospace industry
