This role leads an enterprise team of networking, cyber & telephony professionals responsible for network & telecommunications strategy and operations at Collins Aerospace. Develops and executes delivery of strategic road maps. Manages both internally operated and vendor managed LAN/WAN/WLAN across a complex system of networks in varying states of integration as well as multiple on prem and hosted voice solutions. Plans and designs integration, & implementation of voice platforms and contact center solutions that support both internal and customer facing business systems. Partners with other RTX/DT groups to install, maintain, and manage the network, remote connectivity, network security & telephony systems as a component of the overall infrastructure. Analyze and select alternative solutions based on scalability, resiliency, performance, risk, desirability, feasibility, and viability. Participates fully in the establishment of vision and strategies. Collaborates closely with international teams to provide direction and ensure alignment of enterprise standards for networks and telephony. Drives consolidation and standardization of numerous disparate networks, cyber and legacy systems acquired through mergers and acquisitions. The successful candidate must be comfortable managing team members in multiple locations, who may work remotely.

Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborates with business leaders to gather functional requirements and works with service partners to set strategic vision.
- Provides service leadership and accountability to support network and telephony services required by the business.
- Develop and communicate a risk-based and data-driven strategy and roadmap for infrastructure network, telephony and security services and solutions, in partnership with architecture, infrastructure engineering and RTX network operations, cyber, business relationship managers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Lead, manage, motivate, and mentor a team of highly skilled engineers, and provide performance feedback / coaching
- Partners with vendors and sales teams to investigate and implement new and upgraded solutions.
- Establish, communicate, and advocate for operational best practices
- Delivers operational goals by partnering with various stakeholders and leaders that rely on network and telephony services to achieve their objectives and ensure they can meet their SLAs while maintaining compliant status.
- Manages vendor relationships with managed service providers and vendor hardware/software renewals.
- Provide leadership to teams developing requirements for standards, hardware refresh, upgrades, improvements, new systems, and preventive maintenance.
- Act promptly to drive resolution of complex issues as they arise, coordinating with other Infrastructure teams as required to see the issue through to completion. Includes communication and accountability to business stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive plans to address EOL systems and consolidate on prem and hosted solutions to simplify service offering portfolio across the enterprise
- Identify and propose solutions for service gaps, including but not limited too problem intake, issue prioritization, technical debt, and service delivery.
- Develop network & telephony playbook for site Move/Add/Changes and Mergers/Acquisitions/Divestitures; serve as liaison and leader for due diligence.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
- Must be able to travel up to 30%
- Significant (8+ years) hands on experience leading people supporting large scale global networks.
- Significant (8+ years) hands on experience leading voice communications teams supporting large scale deployments (5,000+ phones, 50+ seat contact centers) Cisco and Avaya phone platforms and call centers.
- Must demonstrate firsthand knowledge and experience with industry trends and developments in networking & telecommunications technologies.
- Experience overseeing teams responsible for facilities infrastructure builds and remodels.
- Familiarity with contract documents (contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum, specifications and change orders)
- Must be proficient at multi-tasking and organizing activities to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of modern infrastructure practices such as Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Experience Managing remote staff and contractors
- Coordination of multiple teams working to deliver shared solutions
- Experience working with outsourcing providers to manage LAN and Telephony services
- Policy and procedure development, and engaging teams to align with policies
- Familiar with current Cyber process and tools
- Strong operational background, running priority one triage meetings spanning multiple teams across multiple Businesses.
- Proven communication skills, including PowerPoint creation.
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and strong interpersonal skills
