Associate Director, Product (Search)

About the Role:
As Associate Director of Product, Search you’ll be a key leader within the product organization at Unite Us. You will be the product domain lead for the search domain, which is responsible for ensuring that our platform surfaces the most relevant resources for a client to help that client meet their social determinants of health needs. Our search and recommendation capabilities power our core workflows within Unite Us, and play a critical role in ensuring clients receive the care they need.
In this role, you will craft and deliver on our overall strategy for the search domain, partnering closely with your engineering, UX and product analytics counterparts within the product and technology teams. You will work cross-functionality with our go-to-market teams to contribute to the growth of our platform revenue. You will lead and manage a team of product managers working across multiple scrum teams.

What You'll Do:
Partner with engineering to define and execute a vision and strategy for the search domain.
Synthesize customer and user feedback to identify pain points and deeply understand their problems and translate them into product improvements and enhancements.
Lead the prioritization and development of your product's roadmap to deliver value to our customers and the company.
Closely partner with our UX design and research team to ensure optimal search experience on core journeys across the site.
Define the product KPIs and track the success of the features that we launch.
Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 product managers, focusing on performance management and continued growth.
Cultivate an environment where people can bring their whole selves to work and advocate for your team and team members.
You’re a good fit for this role if you have:
5+ years of experience in product management and product leadership
Experience building search products or domain expertise in search, with a track record of owning features and product development
Experience working on technical projects that enable other teams
Familiarity with multivariate testing and analysis
Self-directing with strong prioritization and leadership skills
Excellent communication skills, able to act as an ambassador for Unite Us’ product vision to both internal stakeholders and external customers
Someone who has a high focus on shipping products, and is able to make trade-offs that require prioritizing different competing demands
Positive ‘can do’ demeanor, self-motivated, and self-directed
Adaptable: Ability to dynamically adapt to shifts in priorities, resolving contention and solving problems across teams.
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
This position is remote, U.S. based only
The target pay range for this role is $160K - 180K. This salary range represents our national target range for this role. Some geographic areas may have higher target ranges.
This position may require 10% travel
All team members will be required to pass a background check which includes criminal, employment, and education verification
