Collins Aerospace is looking for an Associate Director of Supply Chain Management supporting the EPS Regional and Business Jet Value Stream. This person will manage strategic partnerships and leverage the supply base to meet the company's procurement requirements in terms of quality, delivery, and cost. You will be responsible for managing all supply chain functions, which may include, but not limited to, planning, material procurement, project management, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Drives Supply Chain strategy for the Regional and Business Jet value stream for Electric Power Systems.
- Manages risk across the Supply Chain including working with multiple Supply Chain organizations to drive on time delivery.
- Represents Collins Supply Chain in customer presentations and meetings.
- Supply Chain representative and active member on the Regional and Business Jet Level 3 Value Stream IPT.
- Ensures recovery plans for Supply Chain issues impacting the Regional and Business Jet Value Stream.
- Interprets, executes, and establishes operating policies and procedures.
- Ensures that departmental and support personnel are focused on continuous improvement of products and processes.
- Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and
- Ensures alignment to the organization's goals and initiatives.
- Accountable for final decisions affecting group, company, or corporate-wide activities.
- Creates efficient and concise visibility helping reduce pressure on procurement organization yet providing the Regional and Business Jet value stream with clarity on customer support
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
- Managing cost reduction initiatives.
- Lean manufacturing experience.
- Management/Leadership experience.
- SAP proficiency.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement / CORE
