Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join the A-MH (Air Dominance Proprietary) team in Hazelwood Missouri.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
  • Supports sourcing strategies negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Shift:
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • More than 1 year of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • More than 1 year of experience drafting negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
  • More than 3 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.
Conflict of Interest:
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $69700 - $86100
