Job Description
This role is at Spirit AeroSystems Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages pylons nacelles and wing components with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform audits of policies processes and procedures to ensure compliance to program/contract company customer/government regulatory requirements international standards and working agreements.
- Conduct research and use benchmarking to industry standards.
- Conduct quality system / process reviews provide customer interface and ensure preventive and corrective action.
- Review products processes equipment and measurement systems.
- Develop or utilize statistical process improvement methods.
- Provide technical expertise to company employeessuppliers customers and regulatory agencies.
- Ensures compliance with contractual company and regulatory requirements to assure quality system compliance.
- Provide education and coaching on the Quality Management System.
- This position will be for 2nd Shift
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3-5 years experience in Quality in a Specialist Quality Engineer or Management role
- Must be proficient in Microsoft products such as Power Point Excel and Word
- Must have good communication skills
- Basic Engineering Blueprint/Specification understanding
- Experience working across departments and/or with suppliers
- High School Diploma or GED
- Candidate must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Proficient in root cause analysis methodology
- Experience in AS9100 or NADCAP Audits
- RCCA experience
- Experienced desired with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and team-based environment
- Ability to prioritize requests from multiple sources and support requirements
- Bachelor's Degree

Summary Pay Range - Associate (Level 2): $63800 - $97800
