Audit Manager or Sr. Manager - (For-Profit Construction, Real Estate, Mfg)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced for profitAudit Manager or Senior Audit Managerto join our growing public accounting firm in Dallas. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong public accounting background in external audit and industry experience inreal estate, construction, and/or manufacturinglooking for a path to partner. The ideal candidate will be passionate about client service, team development, and delivering high-quality audit solutions. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage multiple audit engagements concurrently from planning through completion. • Supervise and mentor audit staff and seniors, including scheduling, reviewing workpapers, and conducting performance evaluations. • Maintain and grow client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders. • Networking and identifying growth opportunities • Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and applicable government auditing standards. • Prepare and review financial statements and footnote disclosures. • Conduct risk assessments and lead operational audits and special projects. • Drive engagement profitability through effective billing and collections. • Participate in recruiting, training, and staff development initiatives. • Support business development efforts and contribute to firm growth. Qualifications • Minimum 7+ years of recent progressive public accounting experience, with a focus on external audit. • Proven experience managing audit teams and engagements. • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and fraud controls. • Industry experience inreal estate, construction, and healthcareis highly preferred. • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe; experience with Thomson Reuters Engagement Manager is a plus. Education • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required). • Advanced degree (preferred but not mandatory). • CPA certification isrequired.
