AWS Automation Engineer

• Automate tooling setup and configuration for testing. 
• Automate the maintenance of these implementations.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for various projects, ensuring seamless integration.
• Monitor the performance and reliability of all implemented tools and software into all environments and implement proactive improvements.
• Introduce and integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to facilitate robust development processes.
• Design and implement secure, scalable infrastructure using IaC practices, ensuring high availability across all services.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with the latest security standards and best practices.
• Manage cloud resources and services, focusing on system performance optimization and cost efficiency.
• Develop internal automation tools that streamline operations and support development initiatives.
• Develop automated testing frameworks and scripts to support continuous assessment and optimization of software quality.
• Execute a broad array of automated tests to guarantee product quality and readiness for live environments.
• Continuously enhance testing strategies to integrate seamlessly within the development lifecycle.

Technical Skills

• Proficient with a broad range of DevOps and automation tools including Jenkins, Github, and other CICD technologies.
• Confident in scripting and programming across various languages including Python, Bash, Groovy, JavaScript.
• Good knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes and other container and orchestration technologies.
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud platform.
• Experience with Git and branching strategies.

Soft Skills

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
• Capable of juggling multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Bonus if You Have

• Knowledge in configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform and Packer.
• Deeper understanding of Kubernetes would be great.
• Basic general knowledge on other cloud platforms is a plus (Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge on network security, and data protection best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Familiarity with PCI DSS.
• Basic knowledge of Linux systems.
• Experience with relational and non relational databases.
