The Brand Director ideates, crafts and executes omni-channel campaigns and marketing programs to drive volunteer recruitment and retention, texter acquisition, and revenue. The Brand Director applies a customer lens and marketing best practices to solve cross-functional business challenges. Ensures the marketing team delivers on campaigns and marketing programs that deliver on shared goals and that the Crisis Text Line brand is consistently represented across all internal and external touchpoints. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Responsibilities- Collaborate with CMO to lead strategy and execution for campaigns that increase engagement with volunteer and texter communitiesÂ
- Collaborate with CMO to lead strategy to develop new marketing programs that drive texter and volunteer acquisition such as paid media, influencer marketing, brand advocates, etc
- Manage the MarCom OKR process as it relates to collaboration across cross-functional projects, ensuring marketing initiatives drive overall organizational strategy
- On-going engagement and content alignment across the organization, offering opportunities to more clearly align partners, philanthropy, advocacy, product design, and volunteer-facing content with the Crisis Text Line brand
- Responsible for identifying and building new go to market strategies that center equity and drive growth with target communities Â
- Collaborate with MarCom senior leaders - Creative Director and Communications Director - to ideate, iterate, and execute campaignsÂ
- Manage Digital Marketing Manager, Brand Manager (open role) and Marketing Data Analyst to support the marketing team in delivering on campaigns and cross-functional work.Â
- Supports team and direct reports by setting clear team and individual goals, providing consistent and actionable feedback, and intentionally supporting professional development
- Actively supports individual and team racial equity knowledge, and apply understanding through ongoing learning, reflecting and dialogue opportunities
Qualifications
- 8+ years of brand or advertising experience.
- BA or equivalent experience required, MA is a plus.
- Superior project management, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to exhibit discretion and strong judgment.
- Impeccable creative and strategy abilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with social media platforms and search engines and social media marketing.
- Understanding of advertising, digital marketing, SEO/SEM, copywriting, graphic design, layout, and publishing.
- Working knowledge of content management systems and digital graphics production.
- Strong leadership and media relationships track record.
- Demonstrated analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Global marketing experience is a plus.
Salary Range: $103,000 - $151,000
This range is provided by Crisis Text Line. Your actual pay will be based on your skills, experience, location, and applicable law (such as local minimum wage laws). We pay competitively in the tech-forward nonprofit space and offer a robust benefits package.
