Business Analyst, Accounting Integrations

Our growing Product Team is looking for a Business Analyst who will capture development requirements for our journey towards a scalable and reliable platform that is intuitive to integrate for our partners, customers, and our developer ecosystem. Integrations with customer and partner systems are a core part of Unanet's value proposition and we are accelerating our roadmap with the implementation of an iPaaS system.
What You Will Do

• Lay the foundation for platform growth and addition of new capabilities
• Research, define, and design integration requirements and scope through epics, user stories, and diagrams
• Validate functionality and workflows to ensure we're solving the right problems
• Understand technical user personas in a multi-product business by being the voice of internal and external developers, partners and customers who build on our platform
• Partner with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams to execute our platform roadmap, planning and prioritizing objectively
• Set your engineering team up for success by collaborating closely with them in sprint activities, providing them with relevant user stories and guiding them in estimation

Your First 90 Days
In your First 30 Days, you will understand Unanet from the lens of our current ERP product capabilities and roadmap. You will further learn areas of our ERP products that are potentially new to you. In partnership with your Product Manager, you will clarify and realign requirements by helping refactor user stories, increasing our likelihood of success.
In your Fist 60 Days, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to help understand the direction we're going in and why. Empowered by what you have learned, work with your Product Manager to question, redefine, and revalidate the integrations roadmap for the next three (3) quarters. Working with your Scrum Team, define and solidify future integrations' deliverables.
In Your First 90 Days, you will work with Product Management to build a success plan for all new ERP integrations. You will be the guiding light them as they execute on your defined solutions. You will engage with other Business Analysts to proactively define, rank and groom work backlogs for roadmap initiatives.
Who You Are

• 3+ years of accounting and/or payroll experience, with a strong preference for CPA
• 2+ years of ERP software experience, either as a Support Engineer, Implementation Consultant or Product Owner/Manager, ideally having worked on integrations to an ERP
• Attitude that encourages collaboration, self-organization, accountability, and a drive to deliver high-quality products
• Values teamwork analysis, design and execution for high-impact product initiatives
• Ability to identify gaps, program risks and proactively address them
• Strong technical writing and visualization skills
• Strong execution and customer delivery skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines

Your Differentiators

• You're a passionate subject matter expert who has experience working with customers and engineers
• You have experience working with both internal and external stakeholders to collect business, functional and technical product requirements
• You're comfortable with technical specification and can map out data flow diagrams with ease
• You have a passion for learning new processes (e.g., Agile)
• Experience in the Architecture, Engineering or Government Contracting industries
• Working knowledge of Jira

The salary range for this opportunity is $80,000 - $90,000 per year. You will be eligible for discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
