POSITION SUMMARY:

Delivers specific delegated tasks assigned by a supervisor in the Business Analytics job family. Works in collaboration with business partners to provide analyses and reports to aide decision making based on data, facts, and analytical findings across different parts of the organization. Completes day-to-day Business Analytics tasks without immediate supervision, but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members. Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues. Resolves non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST BE A CURRENT CONTRACTOR WITH CIGNA, EXPRESS SCRIPTS OR EVERNORTH. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio and Project) and RDBMS environments (Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, Teradata)
• This position will develop Teradata and/or SQL Server queries and databases, to effectively manage complex analytical models and large datasets.
• Provide analytical support to Finance through data analysis of claims and report creation.
• Data mining and analysis using SQL tools to develop solutions for systems processing.
• Research issues by analyzing data and interpreting results.
• Work with partners to report client performance and determine process solutions to mitigate risk.
• Enhance reporting capabilities by leveraging technology to create efficiencies and drive process improvement.
• Enhance and automate daily activities to improve business productivity.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with rapid turnaround times on all requests.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 57,300 - 95,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
