Business Application Services Market Strategy Expert (Remote US or Europe)

About this role
The Business Applications Services Market Strategy Expert will provide actionable insights to Gartner clients (who are tech services vendors) who are planning, creating, and managing Business Application services solutions in both corporate and cloud environments.
This Expert will advise on how the business application services market and end user buyer behaviors will evolve, and on the implications for the providers of these services.
The successful candidate will have a vision for what Gartner's clients in this market must do to succeed.
We are looking for practical, operational, and commercial experience creating, bringing to market, and evolving services solutions; including planning, development, market introduction and managing the lifecycle of the offering.
The ideal candidate will possess strong industry experience across business applications, including one (or more) of the following: ERP, CRM, SCM, FIN Dynamics 365, Power BI, LinkedIn, Modern Work and Modern Life - Microsoft 365 (M365), Office 365, Windows 10, Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS; Microsoft Endpoint Manager), among others. Most importantly, the candidate will have experience in consulting, development, implementation, modernization and management, as well as support services.
What You'll Need
- You'll need to know the market, technologies, trends, service offering management practices, etc. and be able to see the forest and the trees.
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
- 12+ years of experience in the IT Services marketplace
- Experience as a leader in the Application Services sector
- Experience creating, introducing, and managing the evolution of business applications solutions into and through market
- Knowledge of Product Management discipline and its applicability/adaptability into Services firms
