Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team. The Business Development Director will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing partnerships with affiliate partners in the e-commerce space. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new affiliate partners and the management of existing relationships.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead end-to-end deal execution with merchants and other key affiliate commerce partners
  • Identify and target new affiliate partners through market research, industry events, and networking
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential affiliate partners
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Build and expand strategic partnerships with merchants and affiliate networks
  • Participate in product roadmap build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts relating to company-wide goals

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the job:

  • 8-10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or related field
  • Experience structuring successful affiliate commerce partnerships and building direct merchant relationships
  • Proven track record of successful partnerships and revenue growth
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of affiliate marketing and e-commerce industry trends and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field

The base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $225,000. The range provided is CafeMedia’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities.
