This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Development Manager- HPI SMB Biz based in India.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a business development professional to drive growth by managing relationships with key partners, suppliers, and customers. The position focuses on executing go-to-market strategies, expanding market opportunities, and maximizing revenue through strong commercial execution. You will act as a key link between internal teams, vendors, and channel partners while supporting sales initiatives and business expansion. The role combines strategic thinking, operational excellence, and hands-on engagement with partners to deliver measurable results. Accountabilities:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, strengthening partner relationships, and executing supplier-focused initiatives to drive business growth. The role requires close collaboration with vendors, channel partners, and internal teams to improve performance, increase customer satisfaction, and achieve revenue objectives.

  • Develop and implement supplier and vendor-specific business initiatives aligned with growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and suppliers to maximize business opportunities.
  • Manage sales execution activities, including credit management, order processing, and accounts receivable coordination.
  • Drive operational excellence through effective pipeline management, forecasting, and inventory planning.
  • Analyze market potential, identify growth opportunities, and expand the customer and partner base.
  • Support channel partners in improving sales capabilities through coaching, collaboration, and hands-on involvement in deal execution.
  • Coordinate technical and sales training programs with suppliers to support new products, solutions, and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, follow business processes, and ensure high-quality execution across activities.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, sales, or partner management, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. A combination of commercial expertise, organizational skills, and technical understanding will help drive success in this role.

    • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, channel management, or a related field.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline required; a Master’s or postgraduate degree in sales or a related field is preferred.
    • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English and a local language.
    • Ability to create and deliver professional presentations and communicate business value effectively.
    • Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to analyze information, manage details accurately, and complete tasks efficiently.
    • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
    • Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing business needs.
    • Ability to quickly learn new systems, technologies, and business processes.
    • Basic proficiency with relevant computer applications and business tools.
    • Strong commitment to ethical business practices, confidentiality, and collaborative teamwork.
    • Willingness to travel frequently as required (approximately 50%).
