Disinformation is all around us, and with the rise of synthetic or altered media it’s becoming more difficult to believe what you see. That’s why Truepic was founded, to help restore trust in the internet through image verification. We’ve created the first camera technology that confirms the authenticity of a photo from the point of capture, giving the viewer complete confidence that what they’re seeing is real.
We are looking to grow our Sales team with a highly organized and self-motivated Business Development Representative. The BDR is responsible for researching and developing new leads for our Account Executives while helping to expand the customer base for our flagship product, Truepic Vision. You also have experience:
- With sales prospecting: 100+ outbound activities daily (cold calls, emails, Linkedin)
- Working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (HubSpot experience is a plus)
- Showcasing your strong business acumen and curiosity around a prospect's business
- Achieving measurable goals in a previous customer-facing role
- Working in a high-growth startup environment
- Developing and delivering strong written and verbal communications
- With time management and self-prioritization
- Successfully working both independently and within a team environment
- Confidently overcoming objections and converting interest into qualified leads
What you’ll do:
As a member of our BDR team, you’ll conduct research to identify prospects and generate leads in our existing target markets. For success in this role, you’ll need to understand the pain points our potential customers face and know how to articulate the value we might bring to their specific business. To do this well requires a high level of comfort identifying the right person to speak to within a target organization, and the ability to concisely share our value proposition with individuals in and around the executive suite. As part of that work, you’ll collaborate with our Account Executive team to build a strong pipeline and manage / track / report against your activities and results. You’ll also attend the occasional conference to help build top of the funnel sales opportunities and secure intro meetings with new prospects.

As founding members of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA), we’re working alongside companies like Twitter, Intel, Microsoft and Adobe to develop a set of technical standards for certifying the source and history of media content. Our controlled capture technology is the world’s first C2PA compliant camera which will help set a new standard for how we consume and accept images across the internet.
