We are looking for a passionate, detail-driven and result-oriented Enterprise Applications Analyst  to join our team in Ireland.


The Team:

With our in-house Enterprise IT Applications team we are growing as a team and look to develop & manage the asset management portion for the organization. At G-P, the team works closely with IT Cloud Services, Operations, Legal, InfoSec, Procurement & others across the business. 

As Enterprise Applications Analyst you will be responsible for managing the software assets throughout the organization. This role involves overseeing the purchase, deployment, licensing, and tracking of software across the organization, ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements and minimizing software-related costs. 


What you will do:

  • Manage & evaluate applications inventory
  • Oversee the purchasing and deployment of software across the organization
  • Develop and implement software asset management policies and procedures
  • Monitor software usage and ensure compliance with licensing agreements
  • Ensure the Enterprise tech stack has a deduction rate of application duplications
  • Ensure there is a governance structure to support applications & app owners where internal teams can submit service requests & change management requests i.e. ServiceNow Portal - business use case assessments
  • Manage the application lifecycle process (retire, onboard, adoption) etc
  • Track and report on software-related costs and savings
  • Conduct software audits to ensure compliance with software licensing agreements
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement software cost savings opportunities
  • Manage relationships between the business and vendors and at certain stages support negotiations with the Legal teams with contracts 
  • SLA Measurements for Software vendors & Performance scorecards

Soft Skills

  • Stakeholder Management - being able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders with each separate requirements / expectations.
  • Vendor Management - be able to communicate at times between vendors and the business & develop strong relationships.
  • Service Management - be able to manage different vendor requests that come through internally via single stream communication & collaboration.
  • Task Management - ability to manage multiple tasks and keep track of due dates, follow ups and regular updating.
  • Operations - ability to build a governance for the Enterprise tech stack and means of working.
  • Team Player - Willingness to support the team in other areas when required or when capacity allows. 
 What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in software asset management or a related field
  • Strong understanding of software licensing agreements and compliance requirements
  • Experience with software asset management tools and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
