Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage, optimize, and scale Google Ads campaigns across multiple ad types, including search, display, discovery, PMax, and YouTube. Create and implement advanced strategies to meet goals like ROAS, CPA, and CAC. Improve account diversity by utilizing various campaign types to increase effectiveness and performance.
  • Manage up to 12 accounts with a total MRR of $50,000 and a managed spend of $300,000. Consistently demonstrate optimizations that lead to increased client performance and budgets.
  • Independently handle client communications, including leading kickoff calls, providing strategic recommendations, and answering in-depth questions related to account setups and performance. Develop long-term client relationships and maintain positive engagement for over six months.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver creative strategies, produce successful ad copy across various formats, and advise on the performance potential of display, discovery, and YouTube creative assets. 
  • Stay informed on industry trends and updates, presenting relevant findings to improve departmental knowledge. Take an active role in contributing to team success by upselling clients on additional marketing channels and providing insights across other digital platforms such as SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
  • Use internal project management tools like Monday to organize workflows, meet client deadlines, and ensure smooth communication across the department.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by answering team questions on platforms like Slack.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Churn 5% of MRR per quarter
  • Increase managed ad spend for existing accounts by 10% per month
  • Maintain an average client relationship of 1 year

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Strong understanding of advanced digital marketing strategies and optimization techniques for various Google ad types.
  • Experience managing high-value accounts with significant ad spend and achieving measurable performance improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
