Job Title:Renovation Carpenter Location:On Site with Travel Reports to:Project Manager / Construction Manager Job Summary The Renovation Carpenter requires hands-on work with cabinetry, minor plumbing and electric as needed. This role must be capable of layout & install of cabinets in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities • Safety Compliance:Enforce safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment. Address and report safety violations and conduct regular safety meetings. • Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of daily operations, labor hours, materials, and equipment used. Prepare and submit regular progress reports. • Communication:Coordinate with project manager and sub-contractors to resolve on-site issues and make real-time decisions that align with project goals. • Problem Solving:Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues on the job site, minimizing project delays. Qualifications • Education:High school diploma or GED; a degree or certification in construction management or a related field is preferred. • Experience:2+ years experience in construction Skills • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. • Excellent communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Physical Requirements • Ability to work in various weather conditions and to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. Additional Requirements • OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications. • Valid driver’s license. • US Citizen • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
