This is an exciting opportunity at Guild on a new and growing “Category Strategy” team. Develop expertise in learner needs, employer needs, the regulatory landscape, and Guild’s operations to define what success looks like in terms of programmatic and geographic coverage, outcomes, student growth, employer spend, guild financial performance, mobility pathways and more.
- Build the roadmap and success metrics for achieving goals; monitor progress, identify success drivers, and scope opportunities for improvement across new partner acquisition, improved student supports, program improvements, etc.Â
- Work cross-organizationally across Business Development, Account Management, Advisory Services, Student Experience, and Product to drive forward critical initiatives to meet category goals.Â
- Partner with product marketing and other enablement teams to ensure the healthcare category and its roadmap are well understood throughout the organization.Â
- Work in close collaboration with colleagues that collaborate with healthcare employers to evolve and update strategies as we grow our footprint and findings in the space.Â
- Act as an external expert with Academic Partners and Employer Partners in the healthcare space. Help them understand our offerings and influence deal progress to drive category success.Â
Qualifications:Â
- 7+ years of experience with exposure to strategy, consulting, partnership development/BD, and team leadership.Â
- Advanced Degrees such as MBA/MHA/MHSI as well as PhD preferred
- Experience and expertise in healthcare education required, ideally through work at a healthcare system, an academic institution, service provider, or consulting firm.
- Experience and a passion for working with external partners to build relationships and solutions. Strong client presence, with the ability to serve as an expert that can drive shared success across Guild and its partners.Â
- Excellent problem solving and project management skills; excels at understanding a problem, conceptualizing on potential solutions, engaging a broad set of partners to get work done, building data-backed recommendations, and delivering a solution consistent with those recommendations.Â
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams to develop and drive innovative ideas; willingness to roll up your sleeves to drive ideas to action in a constantly evolving environment
- Experience in partnering and leading internal teams through influence, and advising on sophisticated projects with changing deadlines.
- Deep curiosity and passion for all things education, learning, HR tech, and future of work.
- Validated strength in navigating in fast-paced, high growth environments with significant change and ambiguity.
