This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Chief of Staff based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with executive leadership and contribute to high-impact business initiatives.
You will act as a strategic operator, helping transform complex challenges into actionable solutions and measurable outcomes.
The position combines analytical thinking, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving environment.
You will build systems, models, and processes that support smarter decision-making and organizational growth.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and enjoys moving between strategic priorities and hands-on execution.
You will play a key role in improving operational efficiency while gaining exposure to senior stakeholders, business strategy, and scaling operations.

Accountabilities:

As Chief of Staff, you will serve as a trusted operational partner to executive leadership, taking ownership of complex initiatives, improving organizational effectiveness, and driving execution across key priorities. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can independently structure ambiguous challenges, create practical solutions, and deliver impactful results.

  • Take ownership of complex, undefined problems from executive leadership and develop clear paths toward resolution.
  • Drive initiatives from initial concept through completion with strong accountability and independence.
  • Build operational models, tools, and systems that improve decision-making and team effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain staffing and capacity models across delivery teams to support resource planning.
  • Provide executive support through concise analysis, written updates, strategic briefs, and actionable recommendations.
  • Translate complex information into clear, bottom-line-focused communication for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Use AI tools effectively to accelerate research, analysis, workflows, and business outcomes.
  • Support real-time decision-making by quickly absorbing context and providing relevant insights.
  • Collaborate across teams and step into hands-on execution when priorities require additional ownership.
  • Analyze business metrics, financial information, and operational data to identify opportunities and improve performance.
  • Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a high-performing operator who combines strategic thinking with strong execution skills. You should be comfortable working in fast-changing environments, managing ambiguity, communicating with senior stakeholders, and independently delivering solutions without requiring extensive guidance.

    • 3–6 years of experience at a top consulting firm or in a comparable high-impact operating role.
    • Proven ability to independently take ambiguous challenges and turn them into completed projects.
    • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, or operational workflows.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work comfortably with business metrics, financial data, and operational models.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and direct updates.
    • Ability to confidently collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders.
    • Strong ownership mindset with a bias toward action and completion.
    • Comfortable balancing detailed execution work with strategic initiatives.
    • Ability to quickly understand complex business contexts and make sound decisions with limited information.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Adaptability, curiosity, and willingness to continuously learn.
    • Must be located in Canada and able to work effectively within the EST time zone.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary range of C$135,000 – C$170,000 annually, depending on experience, location, education, and skills.
      • Remote work flexibility within Canada.
      • Insurance coverage or subsidies depending on country and location.
      • Unlimited paid time off.
      • Company-paid holidays.
      • Company-wide week-long holiday closure at the end of December.
      • Access to free data skills training programs.
      • Opportunity to work on impactful initiatives at the intersection of technology, workforce development, and business transformation.
      • Collaborative culture focused on empowerment, diversity, and individual growth.
