Accountabilities

  • Lead the design and development of civil engineering solutions for site grading, stormwater management, utility systems, roads, parking areas, and industrial site infrastructure.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, construction documentation, and technical deliverables using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related engineering software.
  • Conduct site investigations, field measurements, surveying support, 3D laser scanning, and data collection to inform project design and execution.
  • Develop material take-offs, construction cost estimates, and technical analyses to support project planning and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and architecture teams to deliver high-quality projects while mentoring junior engineers when appropriate.
  • Manage multiple concurrent assignments, ensuring technical accuracy, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction throughout project delivery.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
    • 4–10 years of professional civil engineering experience, preferably within consulting, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 months of employment.
    • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is highly preferred.
    • Knowledge of site development, grading, utilities, stormwater management, surveying, and industrial infrastructure design.
    • Familiarity with topographic surveying, 3D laser scanning, or related field technologies is considered an asset.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
    • Willingness to travel up to 20% for local site visits with occasional overnight travel.
