Cleaning Technician / Independent Contractor (Commercial Janitorial)

Responsibilities • Perform daily janitorial and custodial tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and restroom maintenance. • Follow facility cleaning schedules and quality standards. • Maintain professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication with site supervisors. • Manage your own tools, transportation, and work readiness (1099 contractors are self-equipped). • Optional: collaborate with other Clean by Velossity teams for larger facilities or specialty projects. Qualifications • Prior commercial or residential cleaning experience preferred. • Individualsorexisting cleaning businesses welcome to apply. • Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in consistent results. • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. • Reliable transportation and 1099 eligibility required. • U.S. citizenship required. • Candidates may need to pass a background check; select contracts may require additional screening for government facility access or security clearance eligibility.
