As a Client Director you will be responsible for managing high priority customers with especially complex deployment architectures, use case requirements and associated revenue. The Client Director is accountable for achieving revenue KPIs, retention and NPS targets for customers within their portfolio. You will own client retention and growth strategies and work closely with senior leadership as well as other department heads to deliver strong results. The Client Director also works closely with customer leadership including the C-Suite, as well as practitioners to prepare and execute on achieving the customer’s business and security objectives as they relate to ExtraHop.
What You’ll Do:- Design success criteria and the overarching customer strategy for each assigned customer.Â
- Coordinate and align all ExtraHop personnel to the customer strategy, including executive stakeholders, field sales and services personnel.
- Monitor day-to-day account management & campaign management tactics across your team's key accounts with an eye toward building out efficiencies in team processes.
- Actively participate in all phases of account management and development and work with internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
- Serve as a consultative expert for the customer on security and/or performance best practices using ExtraHop.
- Provide customer insights to your clients as a data storyteller; deliver our message during QBRs, meetings, and events that demonstrate an understanding of the market, and your client's business goals, and answer any objections.
- Identify and implement growth strategies across your book of business. Continuously drive customer adoption, breadth of ExtraHop use cases and overall customer value.Provide customer insight to the Product team for new features, functionality, and enhancements; serve as a business owner for advertiser-facing products.
- Contribute to the broader Customer Success team and ExtraHop on customer management best practices and success planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; 5+ years of large account management or senior customer success experience at the Enterprise level
- Excellent domain knowledge in cyber security, enterprise IT operations and/or network architectureÂ
- Strategic thinker who is comfortable using data & insights to grow relationships, identify and solve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience building internal and external relationships, including senior leadership and C-suite
- Track record of driving positive customer outcomes, including outstanding retention and growth
- Proven ability to set clear and deliverable goals and effectively coordinate and manage cross-team activities to achieve customer results
- Able to grasp and solve complex business issues quickly and creatively
- Excellent communication skills: collaborating, negotiating, persuading
- Commercial awareness including the ability to identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities and work closely with Sales to help scope, negotiate and close renewal and expansion deals
