The Client Virtualization Analyst supports the Client Virtualization environment at Collins Aerospace. This position is responsible for the day-to-day support of the Collins Client Virtualization environments. This includes but not limited to, break fix issues, creating new virtual applications and desktops, supporting the security of the Collins Client virtualization environment, planning, design, configuration and troubleshooting of the Virtual environment. They will also provide support when needed with Active Directory, Networking, server administration, storage, O365 and other business critical applications.
This position cane be remote from home, or hybrid if there is in proximity to a Collins Aerospace location.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Key responsibilities are providing support across the Collins Client Virtualization environments.
- Support of the Collins Virtual environments include but are not limited to Citrix and VMware.
- Support for break fix issues related to the Client Virtualization environments.
- Supports diagnosis and root cause analysis of break - fix incidents related to Client virtualization.
- Generate documentation as needed to support the Client virtualization environment.
- Work with a team of 3-4 systems & application delivery engineers in daily support of current environment with a goal of continually improving the end- user experience.
- Deployment of applications and desktops for Client Virtualization environment.
- Works with Collins Infrastructure teams, application teams, RTX teams and end-users to ensure solid solutions to maintain secure, and highly available systems.
- Communicate technology design and any related issues to technical and non-technical audiences including customers and technical partners.
- Assist team with support of enterprise applications and software in the various end-user environments (i.e. local operating system and VDI).
- Assist with resolution of escalated incidents and participate in issue resolution / mitigation activities.
- Work in concert with other members of the Collins DT team to solve more complex user technical problems related to virtual desktop computing and applications.
- Participate in cross-functional team projects to implement new or updated technology.
- Citrix Virtual apps and Desktops, XenDesktop 7.x, XenApp 7.x, Provisioning Services (PVS), NetScaler, Storefront, AppSense, VMware Horizon, Azure, AWS, Nvidia, Windows Server, Windows 7/10, PowerShell, Active Directory, GPOs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
- Proven ability to provide Customer Service at a high level
- Experience in large-scale Citrix environments where reliability and performance are paramount
- Knowledge of Citrix and VMware Horizon administration and configuration
- Knowledge of Windows 2008/2012/2016/Windows 7/10
- Knowledge of Azure / AWS services
- Knowledge of Citrix VDI running in Windows/Azure
- Knowledge of Office 365
- Candidate must be detail-oriented, task-driven, and able to work well within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands on experience with Citrix VDI, creating new VDI images, updating and administrating Citrix in Citrix Cloud is preferred
