What You'll Get to Do:
The Software Developer will work in an Agile software development environment as a member of a development team. This position requires working in close collaboration with team members and even other teams when required. Candidates must understand client-side and server-side development patterns and will be expected to contribute to both.
More About the Role:
As a Software Developer, you will be a developer of micro-services, adept at containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technology, familiar with AWS, GovCloud, or other cloud environments. You will be assigned tasks to build features and work closely with more senior developers on your team. You will work with industry standard project management tools including the Atlassian Suite of productivity tools to manage work.
You will be expected to be an established and productive individual contributor and work independently with general supervision. The problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. You will influence others and technical staff through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Minimum ten (10) years of experience.
Required Languages, Frameworks and skills:
- Docker (or other OCI compliant alternative)
- Java Spring
- C++
- Experience working with Databases
- Experience developing REST APIs
- Git (GitHub, Bitbucket, or command line Git)
- Familiarity with Agile practices.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Preferred Languages, Frameworks and skills
- Experience working with Oracle database
- Experience working with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
